You can go for a R5 3600 if you can get that cheaper than the 3700.

the r5 3600 is actually way cheaper than ryzen 7 3600x, will it affect performance on streaming and gaming at the same time? or will it have the same effect as having an R7 3600X

The difference between a 3600 and the x variant is so small I don't think it would be noticed.

 

I run 3600x with heavily overclocked 2060 Super and I am 99% GPU bound in SOTTR (which means GPU bottlenecked in most situations).

 

EDIT: As for streaming ..I don't stream so can't tell. But I believe you would be fine with 3600 non-x. Maybe depends on what you will stream and how etc.

I'd change it to the below :

 

The B450M Mortar is just as good as Tomohawk for overclocking, and honestly Tomohawk is kinda overrated, everyone recommends it due to positive reviews.

Mortar is just as good, but in mATX format, yet it has more features (usb, m.2, good layout) than Tomohawk and may actually easier to purchase because Tomohawk may be out of stock.

Boosted the m.2 to a good nvme 500 gb drive, also boosted the mechanical to 2 TB ...

Got up to a gold efficiency psu (it's semi modular, but you have to use the 24pin and 8pin for video cards anyway)

Also chose a cheaper and just as good case. If you don't like the 5.25" bays choose something else. Have a feeling you focused on that case for the rgb fans ... meh, the focus g has two nice front fans and you have enough cooling with those.

 

3200 mhz memory is fine, but if you want spend 10-15 pounds more on 3600 .. no need to go nuts with 3733 mhz memory, the boost in performance between 3600 and 3733 is something like under 0.5%

it deosnt have one :( but the mobo you picked only supports your cpu after bios update

I run 3600x with heavily overclocked 2060 Super and I am 99% GPU bound in SOTTR (which means GPU bottlenecked in most situations).

might aswell go for the Ryzen 5 3600 then, its cheaper than Ryzen 7 3600X then.

As for streaming ..I don't stream so can't tell. But I believe you would be fine with 3600 non-x. Maybe depends on what you will stream and how etc.

 

I haven't seen particularly high CPU load when I game and I game with a LOT of stuff in the background.
