Level51 Laptop with swappable AMD Ryzen 3rd Gen processor

Hey all,

 

I saw a new laptop coming up from Level51 claiming to use AMD Ryzen 3rd Gen CPUs which can later be swapped down the road. As far as I have heard, since area51m from alienware, no such laptops exists yet until now. I am almost considering to get it, but I wish Linus would do a full review on it first.

Here is a link to the said product. They claim the product should arrive late April 2020.

 

What do you guys think? Would you get one of these?

I am stuck on 17" and at least an RTX 2070 (not MaxQ) because I keep my laptop and use it exclusively a very long time.  I would consider this if it were 17" and 2070 or +, because I would love to buy it with a cheap CPU now and be able to max out the chipset / socket 3-5 years from now.  Everything I'm finding right now locks you into i7-9750 or higher.

Clevo has been doing laptops with desktop CPUs for quite a long time
