cheap and SMALL m-atx cases?

Currently trying to work with a family member to build them a desktop, but they have a rather unrealistic expectation of how big this will be. It's gonna be a micro ATX build with a dual fan GPU, but he expects it to be no bigger than those optiplex machines schools put horizontally on desks and put the monitors on top. I'm talking less than 1ft long and tall, and 5in wide. Proprietary board layout small. I've tried explaining that I just can't give him the performance he wants in the form factor he wants. I've heard of the H1 case that's like an actual tower, but that package of case+aio+gpu riser is wayy overkill for the price range we're in. So, I promised him I'd try and find the smallest traditional layout m-atx case I could that would support his parts. I jokingly told him I could build it in a cardboard box and make it as small as he wants and he seemed like he would definitely agree with it if i didn't clarify I was joking, so before it comes to that, I'll get started.

 

Before I start manually searching, I'm here to ask for recommendations for small cases that can fit a full atx power supply, a micro atx board, and a dual fan graphics card. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Huh, I always thought that Mini itx boards were for small form factor integrated graphics builds. I never really thought of building a full system with GPU and all using one. I'll look into it, thanks.

that would be thin mini ITX or some other standers
