Noctua NH-D15

bally

What do you guys think, would a Noctua NH-D15 have enough room in there? Its a corsair carbidge 275r with msi mpg gaming plus and2 sticks of corsair vengeance with 3 120mm fans and 2 140mm fans installed. PCpartpicker says its will fit but i dont know if it fits real.

It will fit.

Case max CPU cooler height: 170mm

CPU cooler Height (with fan): 165 mm

Distance between cooler's fan to motherboard: 32mm

RAM height: 31mm

So the cooler fits in the case and the RAM fits under the cooler, so it's all good.

Probably, yes. Depends on the clearance you have.

Your motherboard doesn't have one of the PCIE x1 slots to the right of the video card.  Instead the slots are all to the left, so the issue is whether the NH-D15 will clear the video card PCIE slot.  On boards that have a x1 PCIE slot between the x16 and the CPU, the NH-D15 will always fit.  However on boards that do not, it depends on the layout.

(this page is lagging)

after 15 minutes of loading, it did say it would fit though.  So you're good.

On that board, I would buy a NH-D15S,  The D15S will fit on more boards and won't risk PCIE X16 clearance.  You ARE good with the D15 however.  (I did check).

Is that R5 3600\R7 2700 ? You don't need NH-D15 for that. But it looks like it should fit.
