Should maybe add that my PC is side ways not the usual front to back so the cables stick out a little..

You can extrapolate some of the concepts to work, as they ARE JUST CABLES.

 

Zip ties, sleeves, routing, etc...  all work at any stage of the PC build, inside, outside, desk, kitchen, TV, stereo, etc.

Cable management just comes down to the user. 

Here is an example of some work I have done for a client if that helps.

I’ve used the legs and braces of the table to help run the cables, linked in with sticky backed loops etc to zip tie and Velcro runs to.

 

Looks really neat now.

 

behind my TV I use a sleeve similar to my wall colour so you hardly notice it.

I am too lazy. I just run everything where it needs to go and leave it. Maybe some velcro ties. I HATE dealing with tubs and stuff when I gotta remove things.

Should I worry about how bent the wires get ?

Bending is fine, kinking isn't. If you have to use force to bend cable, then its too much.

Yeah, copper work hardens so you want to avoid harsh bends or "kinks".

I use double sided hook and loop (aka Velcro) fasteners to bundle the cables at the back of a PC (and elsewhere, as well, including inside a PC). I like these since they are thin and don't roll up into a bulky lump.
