Need help deciding what to use for streaming a hockey game in an arena live on a website

Hello Linus people, I was wondering what would you advise me to get like camera for streaming a hockey game from an arena to a website. I would love for the stream to be at least 1080 60hz for it to be smooth with maximum quality so you can see all the ice. And what type of hardware would you use to connect that specific camera to the website. I would love for the system to be extremely reliable with remote controlling.

It would be sport arenas, churches, events in general that we put a single well placed camera and we want to have it streamed on a website we would also install a microphone for sound input also. Maybe some setups we could offer more camera but I think that it would get complicated for the stream we want it as simple as possible.

I was thinking of a Poe camera connected to a switch that we connect a mini PC and set up obs and have a xlr input to the PC for the sound and then set up obs but I'm not you're if it would be stable and work with the push of a button for places so they can broadcast simply

I looked up does trickster and does things are amazing but we would not be managing every stream. we are trying to figure out a solution that is as simple as possible that does not require us to necesseraly start the stream for them but I am not to sure if there is a solution to this. I was installing a system that did exactly this for funeral homes for a webvideocasting companie and they managed to have a system that they push on a button and the stream goes online on their website. But they don't offer that service to nothing else but funeral homes so found it interesting and trying to figure how to make it work for sports events ( arenas / sport centers / etc )

Honestly there are better solutions for a simple setup than what been listed This should do the trick for you.

A full streaming setup with OBS or wire cast could be recommended if you want to get complex but the full setup would go over $2k but would give you a lot more flexibility. but if you just want a single camera with audio for streaming the link i provided is probably going to be the simplest solution.

most of the JVC cameras look horrible, I've used 3 of their studio and 3 of their field and they all look worst than a T2i at 1080P.

I have used the non-streaming version of this camera and its fine.  Its not amazing but it's not horrible either. A $1200 usd camcorder is not going to be amazing. the intigrated streaming capabilities so that you can push an rtsp stream where ever you need it to go is what makes this a good option.

The OP was looking at a 2k total budget. You are not going to have a great set up at that price point but you can have something descent if you know what to look for.

the issue is he was after remote cameras with a small budget, if he was just after livestreaming with a manually operated camera a 500$ PC, black magic ATM mini or maybe replace both with an ATM mini pro and use a decent camcorder would be like 2.5K or so

The OP didn't actually say they wanted a remote camera. the OP said they were thinking of a POE cam connected via Ethernet to a pc as a way to do it for less than 2k.  The JVC listed will do that better in a single cam solution.  all you would have to do is hit the stream button on a cam and have a wowza server setup to make the stream go live when it sees a rtsp signal from the camera.

this is a test of it i found on Youtube, no its not amazing but its fine. I have professional experience with Black magic Pocket cinema 4k, Panasonic HPX 300, 500, 600, Cannon 5D, multiple Sony Triax cameras for ENG and Live event camera Ops. No the JVC is not as good as any of them but its not as bad as a Sony 450, Z1, pd 150.

having used the JVC GY-HM170 yes you will get some grain but it will still be usable.  AGAIN THIS IS NOT SOME WONDER CAMERA BUT IT WILL DO THE JOB.  Wide open on the iris it will be a hair soft and the gain structure is only better than ENG cameras from 2010 but at the price point for a system that will capture video audio and stream it is passable.  you have to spend over a grand more to make a complete system that will do better.  The suggestion was not some this is an amazing camera it was if the price point is the concern this is probably the most logical option.
