Is the H100 worth it?

Hello all!

I currently have a H70 in my system (It's a 120mm radiator AIO),

And I saw the H100 on sale for 49.99 (+10 dollar Rebate [uSD]),

Is that worth it? Or should I save for a different one?

At 39.99 USD?  Yes that is very much worth it!

It's a refurb, take your chances if you want.

If your chip runs into temperature problems, it could help, if you're already at voltage/clock limits then it's pointless to get.

If it's refurbished I still say take the chance. For $40 it's totally worth it.

If it's new, then HELL YES.

I didn't notice that it was a refurb... Good point... I think I'll take my chances though... 40 bucks is a tad too amazing to pass up. (It has a 12 month warranty, I can always RMA.)

Very worth it. I have a h70 on my grandpas fx 6100 and if the h100 was that price and his case supported 2*120 I would buy it.

I think you can RMA if water damage is under warranty, especially if a closed loop does it.

Since it's a no maintenance AIO, you can RMA it until they get it right. :)

No manufacturer offers replacements for water damaged components. Corsair *MIGHT* offer some sort of compensation for water damaged components - other than their own - that have been damaged resulting in a fault with their closed loop coolers.

And pay for shipping e-ve-ry-ti-me (the nightmare I am actually living right now with 2 Gigabyte GPUs)

I'd do a leak test with it if it is refurb.

I'm going to do a leak test (as if it was a custom watercooled loop) once it comes.

:D

I'm ordering it now. For 40 bucks, I couldn't say no

Ordered it... It's 50 bucks upfront... Not a big deal.

If it sucks, I'll contact and try to get a free RMA, if they tell me it'll cost, then it was only 40 bucks after the rebate. Whatever. :P

BUT if it works... I have an H100 for 40 bucks. ^_^ I'm happy either way.

But the pump didn't even power.
