What's up everyone? Im a 15 year old from India and I am gonna make a 5000-6000 USD Gaming PC Build and I needed some of your advice.

I have my original topic's link over here and I would request y'all to kindly go through this discussion first:

So my doubt is that should I go for an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X or an Intel i9 9900KS?

I saw Linus' recent video which pushes me to go for intel, but I'm still open for suggestions. Also, I am not able to find any site or dealer with an i9 9900KS, so I'd really appreciate if someone hooks me up with a dealer or a site. Due to the pandemic, I'm expecting to complete my build by mid or end of June. There are some other doubts as well in the attached link and I would really appreciate if y'all answer them as well.

Thanks a lot!

If you are gonna go for ultimate, you might aswell get the 3950x, even if it strictly speaking doesnt edge out the 9900k in gaming.

But if you wanna go with the 9900k, dont. Wait for the exact same CPU, but this time with 10 cores releasing in 1-4 months (~ish)

I would go with the 3950X because that also opens up for Ryzen 4000 and the performance improvements gen-on-gen for Ryzen are appreciable. Intel is a bit meh. But up to you.

My only gripe about the build and you mentioned on the last post of the attached thread you started the discussion on is the choice of GPU. Titan RTX should not be considered a gaming GPU at all. It predominantly exists for AI work and research&development. RTX 2080 Ti should fulfill your needs and then some. That's just my opinion though. I understand you want to go all out on the build but even at high budget builds there is no point wasting copious amounts of money for negligible/no performance gain. The RTX 2080 Ti is the best gaming GPU hands down. Because the Titan RTX is purely not a gaming GPU.

But won't the Titan give me more performance, statistically speaking?
