Issue buying a USB hub. Can you help me please.

I'm buying a USB HUB and it only comes with a USB-C connection.

 

Will a USB-C 3.1 connector work with a USB 3.0 adapter/dongle?

And does daisy chaining multiple adapters/dongles limit transfer speeds or power watt throughput? 

 

Want to make sure it would work before I buy it. I don't want to waste money on it, if it won't work.

A usb-c adapted to a usb A port is fine and will work with usb hubs. Daisy chaining them works till a point. You can only do so many till it doesn't work anymore.
