Desktop Motherboard for Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ Processor

you're looking for a desktop motherboard for a FCPGA946 socket.

they exist. they're only on alibaba, from china, for pretty cheap. i wouldn't suggest it.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Can you do this? Yeah kind of?

You'd need something like this: https://m.alibaba.com/product/62417318808/best-budget-motherboard-HM55A-high-performance.html?spm=a2706.7843667.0.0.49da3c2dPnJuXG

I am NOT reccomending you actually purchase that link. I did no research on that company or anything like that. You're stepping into the grey area of Chinese Motherboards. It's risky but yes it can be fun. It'd be far easier and less of a hassle to buy a real CPU than this. That way you get normal desktop clockspeeds and none of the risk this involves.
