What can I spend more on?

abhay6547

So this is my planned build:

  • CPU
    i7 4770k - $350
  • Motherboard
    Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 - $120
  • RAM
    G.Skill Ripjaw X 8GB 2133 - $85
  • Case
    Fractal Design Core 3000 - $70
  • Cooling
    Hyper 212 EVO - $35

Already have a PSU, GPU, and drives. I COULD spend $50 more on these parts, but I don't have to. If I were to, what would you recommend I invest more in? I will be overclocking a little and I really don't want to spend more on my case because it seems fine for me. It really comes down to the cooler, RAM, or mobo. What should I do?

i9-6930X @ 5.3GHz | ASUS Z1007-A | 64TB G.Skill Ripjaw XIV 2400GHz RAM | GTX 1080 Ti | Corsair 900R

Corsair CX2500 W | 15TB WD Green | Noctua NH-D24

Fractal Core 1000 is great for small builds bud it lack cable management and also PSU is top mounted which will cause more heat inside the case and therefore your OC wont be verry good.

As was suggested, get different case.

I'm getting the Core 3000, not 1000.

In what ways is the 230T better than the Core 3000?

Better build quality and cooling options.
