ok so ones AGAIN i have double click issue and this time i started doing some research!
but first my history with mouses 😛
my first 2 mouses were those old ball mouses, they worked but was a chore.
then the Era of lasers started! i had a mouse that was quickly discontinued, this mouse was amazing, it only had 1 flaw and that it didnt work well with white reflective surfaces, but this thing lasted many MANY years, in retrospect the greatest mistake in my life as a gamer was to send it to the garbage.
i have 3 criteria for a mouse.
Movement should be smooth, the scroll wheel should work, but most of all, the F-ing Click buttons, ESPECIALLY left click, it better work every, single, time.
every "modern mouse" i've used since my first laser mouse that costed me 5-10 dollars back in the day have been garbage.
anyway, i discovered the problem to be that everyone uses these "omron switches"   these things are absolutely terrible, they have a very short lifespan, and i expect a mouse to last at least 10 years.
i can wear out these modern mouses in less then a year, if they last that long, the current mouse i have now got worn out in less than 3 months.
SO!, does ANYONE know were i can get an actual mouse because im starting to lose my mind to left clicks becoming double clicks 9/10 of the time.
here's a video about someone who goes into how you could fix it, but i'd much rather buy a mouse that works instead of having to hope my potato hands dont break the intricate interior of circuits and such. (also my medicine makes my shaking hands shake 10 times more, sooo)

Sorry if i seem upset, this issue is rather infuriating to me, especially since i have had a better mouse that costed 5-10 dollars.

my research so far concludes that most mouses uses trash chinese triggers instead of proper triggers from japan, also i found a software that "solves" the issue however im still looking for a mouse without this issue, "solve the issue at its core" and all that.
https://www.howisolve.com/how-to-fix-a-double-clicking-mouse-easily/
also i hear something about Huano switches, people describe them as having harder clicks, no clue if this translates to them being heavy duty or what.

Software that claims to "solve double click" just rejects click inputs that are too close together. While it solves the issue, it can get quite annoying when you ACTUALLY want to double click and either the mouse or software rejects it.

Omiron switches by themselves are not bad, at all, but they sell a couple VERY cheap switch models that some manufacturers like to use. Logitech is the #1 offender AFAIK. The best thing possible in terms of switches are optical switches, as accidental double clicking is literally impossible by design.

What is your hand size? Measure the width and length as shown. It will help me give you a proper recommendation for a new mouse :D
