They are what Linus SHOULD be using in his ZFS setups instead of SSD's as SLOG.
For some reason Linus thinks it is a good idea to burn out his SSD's by using them as ZFS SLOG devices.
The last video I watched where he did a similar screwup was when he was competing against some NAS vendor where Linus could save 1000's of dollars building a cheaper system with free nas for video editing. https://youtu.be/c5PnP5bKz6k

If he wanted to build a more solid system he should go with a used RMS-200 or RMS-300 or one of the ones you posted above. But nay...
