No post/no signal detected

mediumi0

Before we start, I have tried every single possible solution to solve this problem, clearing cmos, checking every damn ram slot with one stick and etc... I even got a new mobo, new rams and my pc was to pc repair specialist, still the same issue won't leave me.

All parts are brand new, nothing is overclocked, actually everything is default. Ram is on mobos qvl list.

I was checking temperatures while playing AAA games, cpu wasn't higher than 75, gpu was below 90.

PC SPECS:

Ryzen 7 3700x

ASUS TUF GAMING PLUS X570

HYPER X 3200MHZ 16GB (2X8GB)

RM 750 X

RTX 2070 WINDFORCE 2X

Previous mobo and rams was:

Asus Prime x570 pro

LPX 16gb 3200mhz (2x8gb)

So, I builded a new gaming rig for over than 1.5k usd and it doesn't want to work, the biggest waste of money I had ever done, but life is life. After I builded it, it worked for 4 days, I was playing games and doing other basic stuff. When pc was idling, the monitor turned black and said there was no signal detected, I noticed that there is DRAM light on on pc. That dram light is solid yellow, all fans are spinning, all rgb lights are working fine, but there's is no signal to monitor or keyboard for example. Remember, I cannot get into bios. Like I told you before, I tried every single option to fix it. I bought a new mobo and new ram, and it the issue was still here!!! I gave up at that moment and went to pc specialist. He had my pc for 8 days and finally he called me that my pc is alive. Well, actually it was alive only for two days :) so if I'm right he said that bios was corrupted or smth like that and other things was fine. I got my pc back, I turned it on and it was working for real! The very next day my pc shut down and then restarted but without any  life, dram light turned on once again. Somehow, after 20 times trying to reboot it I got it, it finally turned on. Nothing was laggy, everything was working fine till today. Soo, today I was just watching some random videos on YouTube and shit, here we go again :))) monitor just lost signal from pc, dram light just turned to yellow. Fans are spinning, rgbs are lighting, dram light is solid yellow and yeah... No post. What should I do? Where the hell is the problem? Do you guys have any idea? Thank you for your help!

By the way, im sorry for my broken english, I hope you will understand.

Hey, I think I have the same problem.

My CPU was causing the problem, but I got replaced it today and I still got black screen like 1.5h in-game. This time it restarted and working fine right now. But something is wrong I think.. This shouldn't be happening.

Hey, well you are having the same issue like me, atleast I think so. I researched many websites, and  like 90% people who had this problem had asus mobo as well, so I'm starting to think it is the asus fault with their mobos...

I don't want to be negative or smth, but on my previous mobo (x570 prime pro) I updated my bios to the latest 1405 version and had this issue. On this mobo my bios was 1201 and same issue won't dissappear. So, I don't really think it will help, but who knows...

Hello guys, having a weird problem with my pc build. I am changing from a Asus B250m-plus Intel i7 7700 to a asrock steel legend b450m with ryzen 5 3600

MB: asrock steel legend b450m

CPU: ryzen 5 3600

GPU: zotac 1070 8gb

Ram: gskill tridentz rgb (2x16gb) 3200hz

Ssd/hdd: 120gb ssd// 1tb hdd

Psu: aero cool kcas 500w 80plus bronze

So, since yesterday I've been trying to make this pc build works, but when I plug everything and turn on the psu switch, the leds from the motherboard turns on, but it won't boot if I press/short the power button/pins.

What I've tried:

1- using different memories and different slots - FAIL

2- unplugging everything till left with the basic - FAIL

3- cmos reset by memory and shorting pins - FAIL

4- psu works if green wire is shorted.

And now that it starts getting weird (I guess) if I reset cmos, short the green wire, plug everything together and turn on the psu switch the pc turns on just fine, I can even open discord, so a turned it off, removed the short wire, and again, can't get it to boot up again, not by pressing/shorting the power button/pins. But if I clear the cmos and short the psu's green, it will boot up and works.

Is it psu problem? Knowing that my old build works just fine.

Is it motherboard problem? Knowing that it boots if psu shorted.

Okay. I updated my BIOS and read on the internet, that you need to uninstall Asus AI Suite. I did these two things, and now is second day I'm not getting any black screen issues. I will update if I will get one, but you should try at least delete all CPU temp monitoring programs you have. Delete Asus AI Suite.

Well, thank you. Tomorrow I'm bringing my pc back to pc specialist. If I will get that dram light on once again I will throw that asus motherboard straight to the bin and will never look back at asus side. Even my old acer laptop works fine even this day which one is bought like 10 years ago and I changed nothing in him. And now I wasted more than a 1k for literally nothing, I have this pc for like a month right now, but i have used it maximum for 6 days! Ffs

Yea, I know that feeling. I'm Macbook Pro user for the past 5-6 years and I didn't had any problems with them. Any. Not a single one. But I wanted to game a little bit and built 1.2k worth of PC and after 6 days it stopped running, after that I started to get black screens.. This is the real PC master race they say. If you get all working from the first try - it's not a PC.
