Awesomeguy900

So I recently a the Momentum 272M Philips Monitor. This monitor can run 144hz, so I tried connecting it to my red laptop, but it only ran 120hz. When I connected it to my other black laptop, it ran 144hz But I need it to run 144hz on my red laptop, anyway to do this?

Red laptop specs - gtx 1050, i7 8gen, 8gb of ram

Black Laptop - gtx 1650 super, i7 9gen, 16gb of ram

Both connected with a hdmi cable.

Try going into settings and changing it. Go to system - display - advanced display settings - display adapter properties. Go to the monitor section then see if you can change your refresh rate.

Have you tried going into the nvidia control panel and tried to change it there?
