Monitor flicker

Ok  I've had this monitor for just over a year now and it has developed a real odd fault, when i drag my cursor from my functioning monitor to the flickering one, the flickering just stops (When i say flickering, it just dims and brightens really quick). I've updated drivers, used different cables and even tried changing its default refresh rate, Just wondering if anyone had a possible fix it would be greatly appreciated.

So as you have mentioned driver updates, i'm not going to suggest that but there's a program that you can use to check for dead pixels but i can't remember what it's called so try and find that. Most likely your panel is defective and i don't think there's a fix
