Please help. I have never built a pc. This would be for playing games like ark, atlas, last oasis stuff like that. I don't need anything crazy. I'm not expecting much. Just want it to be playable and don't want to spend much since I've never gamed on pc. Not sure if I'll use it. I've always played ps4. Any advice would be great.

This is basically the minimum with new parts if you want to play less demanding games like CS:GO and StarCraft 2. You need a dedicated GPU (about 100$ USD more) if you want any real demanding games.

This is a great list, If I were you though I'd opt for the 1600 AF $85 6 cores and 12 threads. This should make it easier to get a higher end gpu.

I would recommend that you look on the used market, you can get a lot better value. This is a new build, no guarantee it’ll handle 1080p@60fps.

Ty. I'm not opposed to used parts. I just don't know enough to know how not to get burned

You should try to expand your budget, you can afford something like this

I was gonna suggest a 3000G but tbh the Vega 8 in the 3200G Is stronger than the GT 730 I think, and 2 cores is really stretching it.

GT 730 is a waste of money, it's not better than the integrated graphics. The PSU is pretty crappy and is also overpriced. The motherboard is too expensive.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

If you are ok with used, I would get this optiplex. At $145, you can upgrade to 16gb ram, an ssd, and a 1050ti or 1060. Then you can do 1080p gaming. Don’t have to worry about getting ripped off.

this is pretty bad, even for a low-end PC.

pointless GPU when a 2200G/3200G would have been faster.

PSU is crappy, a CX450 would have been much better for $10 more.

a B450M-Pro VDH would have been just as good and cost less.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

I think I'm going to go used. I really appreciate all the help. Just amazing. Thank you

If you go with used/refurbished full systems pay attention to the form factor- that Optiplex is a half-height system and needs low-profile graphics cards like this:

https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GTX-1650-OC-4GT/dp/B07ZTXYVMN/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2CW1TET9ZVII7&dchild=1&keywords=1650+low+profile&qid=1585492212&sprefix=1650%2Caps%2C172&sr=8-2

The power supplies can also be a little sketchy sometimes, so I wouldn't go any higher power-wise than a 1050Ti or 1650. If you can find a system with a proper ATX power supply you can upgrade it, but those are pretty rare among prebuilts.
