So i recently got a new motherboard, CPU, GPU and PSU. Which is the MSI B450 Gaming Max Pluss, rtx 2060 super windforce, ryzen 5 3600 and an corsair cv 550. When i went to test my performance, i roughly just got above 150 fps on averege. I have seen other people with the excact same build as me and same settings waaay fore FPS. My old build was with the ASUS b250 pluss, i5 7600k and an ASUS ROG STRIX 1060 6gb. Which ran better on CS than it does now for me with my new parts.

That is probably because they have faster memory, because 2400Mhz memory running at 2133Mhz is really not good for a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU.

I would first run a better benchmark, like Cinebench R15 for the CPU and 3DMark for a mix of CPU+GPU and then compare your scores there, since I have never found UserBenchmark to be very reliable.

But I can almost guarantee your memory is the culprit here.

1. is what I consider the best option, in terms of speed

2. is what I consider to be the bare minimal

3. what you have

You see the average fps goes from 100, to 105 to 108.

That's just one example, which doesn't even show how big the difference could be.

So my advice:

- Run a proper benchmark to confirm these scores (Cinebench and 3DMark)

- If that shows the same issues, get faster RAM.

I did not reinstall OS when changing to new parts. But i did update all my drivers though.

That could be an issue too, since I know Windows sometimes doesn't play well with switching from one motherboard to another, especially if you switch to 'drastically' (from Intel to AMD, which can use different sort of drivers).

your ram is slow and you're currently not even running it at 2400, but at the default 2133.

make sure you have your two sticks in slots 2 and 4, go into bios and enable xmp. if it boots and work normally, go back to bios and try to increase the ram frequency to 2667 and dram voltage to 1.4. if it boots normally, you might have improved your fps by 10%
