Hello,

Is it normal that my overclocked Ryzen 1600 runs at 33C above ambient constantly and sometimes peaks 46C above ambient under load ?

Perhaps the thermal paste isn't spread well enough?

CPU cooler : Noctua D15s with one extra A12x25 in the front

CPU power consumption is around 85~90W under load.

Case : Lian-Li O11XL with 3 A12x25 side intake, 3 A12x25 top exhaust, 1 A12x25 rear exhaust

Ambient temperature : 29C

Intel I7-10700KF stock - Noctua NH-D15 - A15+A12x25

Micron Ballistix Sport LT 4133MHz CL17-21-21-40 @1.45v

GIGABYTE AORUS 3090 Xtreme 1905MHz@0.919v/2010MHz@1.063v +900/750 memory clock

Seasonic PX-1000

Lian-Li Lancool II Mesh

for comparison I have a cheap Cooler Master 212 LED on a ryzen 2600 that stays around 38c for normal tasks and around 62c on load.  If I stress the CPU, I can get it to about 72c.  It is about 20c in the room

By constantly you mean even when CPU load is under 15%? Cause the temps are rather normal for load.

I mean that when CPU is under load (100% usage), the CPU temperature is 33C above ambient.

Idle temperature is around 4~5C above ambient.

Then its normal. Its also bit hard for me to count those as its rare to see temps given as delta instead of total.
