Since I have basically been the person all my friends go to for cooling questions, one of my close friends wants to upgrade to a 3900x and cool their 3900x with the included Wraith Prism. The so famous prism is actually inferior to such a simple and cheap cooler as Deepcool Gammaxx300 or Alpenföhn Ben Nevis (ID cooling SE-213V2). even a ~15$ cooler outperforms the prism. Stop complaining the op just wants to know if the cooler is enough, wraith prism handles the 3900x(even with mild oc) and deepcool Gammaxx 300 is obviously better than the wraith prism but the difference is just a bit low temperature Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted March 26, 2020 It should be okay for stock clocks, just make sure you don't overclock and have good airflow in your case.
