240mm VS 280mm

Hey guys,

 

Just trying to decide between these two, recommandations?

More surface area means more potential for heat dissipation, but it's unlikely to matter to most people.  For a $20 difference though, why not go with the 280mm if you can fit it?

If your case can fit the 280mm, go for that one.

Personally I'd go for an air cooler.

I have a phanteks P400 I'm pretty sure it will fit?

i7 7700k :))

I mean a 280mm AIO won't really give you a huge performance boost with a 7700k so just get the one you want and keep that in mind. Personally I'd get the 240mm AIO.

Get the 280 more cooler makes its better. That simple. Lower fan speeds and less noise compared to 120 stuff. Isn’t all about performance.

Even with overclocking, I have my i7-8700k OC'd using a 240mm AIO, to me its more of a value decision, if you have the money just go for the 280mm.
