Hi guys this my first time overclocking need some help

Hi guys,

i am new to this forum and this my first time overclocking my CPU, currently i am using a 630W PSU and a GTX670 and an Intel i5-2400, i would like to overclock my CPU but i am not too sure about it? as i have heard only the 2500K or specifically only the "K" series are able to overclock? is that true? if its possible to overclock how would i go about it and what are the stable clock speeds that i should overclock it too?

Thanks in advance!

Sadly you have a non "k" cpu so your overclocking is limited to almost none.

Ryzen 1600@3.8ghz / 16gb 2400mhzASRock B350 ITX / Gigabyte RX 470 4gb / 256gb M.2 / SG13B-Q / Corsair 450w

If the motherboard allows baseclock OC, then you might be able to squeeze tad bit more out of your CPU, but baseclock OC is not recommended unless you know what you are doing.

i wouldn't really recommend Overclocking on it, even though I know you can quite a bit. Won't really make much of a performance increase.
