[Help] Laptop Connecting to x2 Monitors, alternate between Desktop

Godrick

G'day,

As with what is happening around the globe, it's time to work from home!

How ever to bring my work setup into my home setup, is there anything that will allow me to do the below?

Scenario

I want to be able to work on my laptop using x2 of my monitors with my keyboard and mouse, then being able to switch to desktop, while at the same time being able to use the same peripherals.

Setup

DELL Latitude 7280 (HDMI, USB-C)

External Monitor 1 (Support for HDMI.)

Ext Monitor 2 (Support HDMI, Display Port).

Peripherals, Keyboard Mouse.

Thanks in advance : )

There’s a downloadable soft switching app too.  I forget the name.  It was reviewed on LTT once iirc.  You’d run the desktop as is and plug the laptop into the network.  Needs a lot of bandwidth iirc.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
