Hey, I’m a amateur when It comes to PC building, and this is my first build.
I had previous problems with my PSU, so I ended up sending it back and purchasing another one. (EVGA Supernova 850W)

I am seeing a problem with my VGA cords, because my PSU came with 3 different VGA cables, and none of them fit my GPU.

pictures below, what ones should I put in? What should I do? Do I need a adapter or something?

The 6+2 pins go into the graphics card. The 8 pins go into the PSU. Look up a YouTube video of how to do that.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

The end where there are two cables should fit your videocard.

This goes into your videocard:

The other side goes into your power supply.

Do this with both cables (one side in PSU, other in GPU) and that's it.

They only plug in one way and you have to plug in the 2 pin and 6 pin at the same time.

Yes, I understand this but there’s a 4-pin end and a 3-pin end, then on the other eintire end of the cord is where in goes into my PSU. For my GPU, I need 2 4-pin ends thag go into my GPU.

correction: when I say four pin I mean 8-pin, and when I say 3-pin I mean 6-pin, my bad!

You plug the side I showed in the picture, into your videocard. You plug the other side of the cable into your PSU. Keep in mind these can only be plugged in one way.

What part is not working for you?

The end with the white "EVGA" label goes to the power supply end.

Plugs into any of the VGA 1 ~ 6 ports.

The other 6+2 end, plugs into your video card.

If your video card needs all 8 pins, you plug all 8 in.

If your video card needs the 6-pin, plug the 6 pins in, and leave the extra 2 pins off to the side.

My graphics card needs another 8-pin and the cable that came with the PSU does not have that.

Grab a second VGA cable, and plug another one into the PSU...

I own 2x EVGA P2 850W power supplies, I know EVGA included more than one 8-pin cable for graphics card 🤣

  • Cable that daisy-chains into 6-pin and 6+2-pin
  • A second cable that daisy-chains into 6-pin and 6+2-pin
  • Cable that is just one direct 6+2-pin cable
  • Another cable that is one direct 6+2-pin cable

Pick any of the two...using the direct 6+2-pin cables will give you the cleanest look.
