So I have 2 CPU options: Ryzen 9 3900x and i9 9900k. I know that i9 is better in terms of gaming but not much, maybe 5-10 fps as far as I know. I'll do more gaming like triple A and FPS games but in the near future I'll do a little bit of video editing. I want to overclock too. I've been an Intel fan pretty much all my life. So, is it worth it to switch from Intel to AMD now? Right now i'll game on 1080p 144hz with an RTX 2070 super but, maybe, I'll buy a 1440p 144hz monitor later.

What resolution and what frequency (Hz) will you be gaming at? What games? What video editing program will you be using?

1080p 144hz for the moment. As for games: triple A and FPS. I'll use adobe effects, photoshop and premiere.

144Hz and Adobe Premiere are scenarios where Intel does do better.

In gaming not so much, but in Premiere you can make use the of the videocard's QuickSync functionality while rendering videos. But as far as I know, there are only certain CODECs which can take advantage of that.
