Gonna need to know the game's you play. Depends on if they are CPU intensive, or GFX intensive. How much ram is needed, etc etc...

Thanks!

I play competitive Beat Saber. I'm a hardcore rhythm gamer and I play this thing every day but I don't even get 80 FPS. Beat Saber requires atleast 8 gigs.

I would upgrade the gpu and ram. How much do you have to spend?

$400. I'm thinking of buying a 2060 and get 16 gigs or even 32 gigs.

I would do that, make sure the ram is at least 3000MHz.

The CPU may be a bottleneck and 32Gbs of ram may be overkill.

Your ram would serve you better. I would recommend at least 3000MHz kit. 32GB should do you fine and add some longevity with the newer games coming out. Since you have a 3rd gen ryzen, you can play with the Infinity fabric settings as well to make sure you're getting the speeds necessary.

If it were me personally, I would wait until you have $600USD for the graphics card upgrade alone, after you upgrade the RAM. Upgrades are about adding longevity to your system. Skimping out by trying to upgrade 2 things with lesser improvement will just mean more upgrades sooner. That is just my two cents however!

Perhaps, but the there is still the option later. Better ram and gpu are more important.

I don't think the hitching will be fun in VR unless the frame rate is capped.

sell the 3200g and the ram

buy a ryzen 3600 cpu and 16gb of 3600mhz ddr4

not a new GPU, get that in a few years time.

First thing to do, UPGRADE THAT RAM! I would recommend at LEAST 16GB of 3200MHZ DDR4 RAM for buttery smooth performance. If you like RGB (I bet you do) and have two or more RAM slots, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro. These are great memory sticks that look as amazing as they are functional.
