Ryzen is am4  and this doesn't support it according to specs. I'm after something with stupid levels of cooling for my cpu. I mean 110gbp for a air cooler is crazy as it but I want it to be cool and badass. Heat mitigation is key since I'm after some red devil x2 cards for quad crossfire for 4k 60+ in specific games also that horsepower will be sexy in benches for bragging rights in mmos.

Right, didn't notice the incompatibility.

Scythe coolers are interesting, but bequiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 would be some of the coolest. Maybe not aesthetically pleasing, but by performance.

So, it all goes by the personal preference - what looks good(?)

i already have a wraith max which stops it breaking past 50C on load which only happens during something like 4k wow. or 1440 in raids both 21:9.

i just want overkill for the sake of overkill. since i dont intend to upgrade my cpu till the next chipsets comeout for the last am4 or am4+ socket chips.

i have a 110 budget for 2 more things which are gpu coolers i can stick some 120mm fans on so i can seriously cool my xfire rx580s since these are going to be pretty crazy in some games i play alot like elite dangerous.

What case and ram are you using?

Why not put the money towards the next actual hardware upgrade for performance?

This.
If don’t already have a cooler in mind, use that money to get a better tier of gpu when you upgrade.

well i have savings set asside for the final gen of ryzen and ive got 1750 for the next gen rtx cards tho im saving that for the hw refresh ones or super cards as i'll want a 3080ti or 3080ti super if such a thing will exist. and cpu im not upgrading till final gen of ryzen i play in multi monitor configs and this post is defunct now as me my uncle and nan all have carbon monoxide poisioning my nan is in crit condition so now im going gas boiler shopping and carbon monoxide alarm shopping and building a outside extention so it doesnt have to be in the living areas of the house. so if ltt has a section for home tech and if smart gas boilers exist then id like alot of advice on that.

erm i think the wraith max and prism are nicer although the black version is okay. and i use mixed ram which is bad but its for asthetics and aslogn as ran slot 2 isnt covered im find the hyper x is like 2x taller than corsair lps heatspeaders. ive switched to a rx580 after selling the rtx 2060 for 290 so i can save more cash towards a major upgrade. im still sitting on a 3950x and a x570 tuff board. but for now i only care for asthetics. so something really nice looking is important i managed to pick up a Acer XZ350CU for under 50 gbp but it does have scan lines at the sides but luckily this one can oc to 155hz on freesync which makes me think its been modified but now my colour scheme is black and silver/white. so with that said im tempted to spend over 100 pounds on a aio and just replace it every couple years.
