I want to mount a tv in this part of my bed, whats the best way to go about it?

ManosMax13

I am planning to get an x box controller a sub 300dollars 4k tv (i already have a pc) and make a setup here on my bed. How do i go about mounting my tv without screwing anything and ruining the wood? Also why you are here feel free to recommend a sub 300 dollar 4k tv and anything else that would make this a better setup.

Thanks a lot,manos!

I'd get a small Universal TV mount and have at it.

Drilling would be easiest, another method you can use but won't look as clean is to have the TV mounted to a sheet of plywood then clamped it in place onto the edge of the frame.

Holes, bolts, etc.  Yes.

Glue ain't going to work.  Or you can hang it from the bed above.

Hooks, wire, hooks/bolts into the back of the TV where the mount would go.  I did something similar in my basement years ago.  Floating TV if the wires are small enough and unoticeable.

Its going to be tough without screws. You could use double sided tape to put up a shelf but thats probably worst for the wood finish than  a couple of screws

Another option would be an upside down monitor arm if you can clamp it to the upper bed.

You could also zip tie the hell out of a tv mount but that could still damage the side of the bed

How would i go about clamping the tv from the bed above without screws

@ManosMax13 The idea that I like the best so far, is getting a piece of 5/8" (maybe overkill) plywood and cutting it to the width of the support for the upper bunk. Mount the VESA mount with the screws to the plywood, then clamp the wood to the bed frame.

Hopefully this makes sense? I attached a picture with my explanation.
