will this graphics card still work?

So I recently have bought a gtx 670 in a store called CEX, It looked fine, used, and when I got home I examined it, and found what appears to be corrosion. I took some pictures so you can see.

I am not 100% sure this is corrosion, but if it is, will it still work? If it works, should I still use it?

Can it damage my PC's components if I install it?

If you can't see the corrosion, i'll post some better photos.

I'm new here, if i posted in the wrong place tell me also.

To be honest I don't see anything corroded on these pictures. Maybe you'd like to point out which part you consider corroded? As you bought the card from a store I guess they tested that it's working properly? So I'd give it a try closely looking and smelling at your system when first starting it. As long as you can't see any obvious malfunction or smell something burnt it'll be fine.

i attempted to try and show specific spots that seem worse than others (if they even are corrosion) but i don't think i will be able to do much better if you still cant see. Its alot less worse than other cases i've seen online, its just less concentrated and more spread around the board. (if it even is corrosion)

I've also noticed a few dodgy bits with the card which make me trust it even less.

It appears to have the shroud, or is, a gtx 680?

I'm getting confused, i have a machine i can put it in but i'm hesitant to put it in.

Alright, i've chucked it in and so far, it works.

GPU-Z shows its a 670, and on idle it runs at fine temperatures (39 degrees C).

It runs fine for now, i haven't seen any visual oddities yet but we'll see how it goes in the long run.

Fan sounds like its going, so i may attempt to give it a clean, see if that stops the noise.
