PC Isn’t Displaying Anything

suda

Hey all.

it seems my computer may have just given up on me. This morning I noticed that it wasn’t displaying on my monitors when I turned it on, and noticed the VGA LED was red. Tried swapping out the GPA I was currently using for an older GTX 760 thinking it might be the GPU that failed, but I still didn’t get an image and the VGA LED remained on. I then took out the GPU entirely, looked everything up directly to the mobo, and still no picture plus the CPU LED is now red. On start up with or without the GPU, it seems to run through its usual checks (the flashing LEDs on the mobo) but doesn’t display anything. No clue what is happening - it was working fine last night.

do you all think this is a mobo issue?

CPU: i7 4770k

GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 3GB

RAM: 16GB DDR3

MOBO: ASUS Z-87 A

thank you!

Try resetting the BIOS.

Did so - now the VGA LED is red even without a GPU mounted. Still no display.

Do you have another CPU on the same socket?

Unfortunately not
