2070 Super or 1080ti

Hi everyone, I am planning on a build involving a used 9600k, and I need to decide on a gpu. For reference i am playing at 1440p, 144hz. A friend of mine offered me his 1080ti for 400 dollars, which seems like a good deal as opposed to a new 2070 super for 500. However, according to some sites, they have comparable framerates in games i play, such as Overwatch and Apex Legends. I know the 1080ti is better in compute, but I was thinking the next gen graphics might be more important. I don't care about ray tracing.

For the $100 difference, I would go with the 1080Ti if you're 100% sure it's working well. How much warranty is left on it?

 

Compute what? Exactly. No ones cares about Compute!!

 

If money isn't an issue, I'd go with the 2070s probably for longer warranty period.

The 1080ti should be slightly better. So go with that if you have it from a reliable source

Get the 2070 Super. That way if you ever want to play games other than the ones you just mentioned, you get better performance. Also, the 2070 Super is more future proofed.

the 1080 ti is better than the 2070, just because somethings newer doesnt mean its better.

Money is an issue, but I was willing to spend the 500 for the super so 400 is better. The card 1080ti is about 5 months old, and I do know it works well.
