The Senate will almost certainly kill a controversial cybersecurity bill, recently passed by the House, according to a U.S. Senate Committee member.
Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., the chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, said in a statement on April 18 that CISPA's privacy protections are "insufficient."

Although it may be "dead" for now, I would imagine that they will try to push out a different revision of the bill.

I don't doubt that there will be some version of cispa that gets signed into law,but I hope that version has more details pertaining to protecting our privacy.

Isn't this the second time they've tried to pass this through? They can try all they want, but it isn't going to pass.

I certainly hope not, Gandalf! Even though I don't live in America it would probably effect the whole world.
