Well the website looks clean and is a little farther along than I would have expected from this post - https://app.any.run/tasks/0d2aede2-d365-492a-8a7b-e80be6dee04c/

 

It looks like you are trying to clone LTT as VTT... which fine to each their own, but you will need to find a way to get yourself out there and build a community. So far you don't really have anything that would grab peoples attention to keep them around. Do you have a plan on what type of content you want to create or do you just want to be a forum of sorts for tech stuff? If the latter, you are going to have issues since there are already many bigger and established sources there.

You talking about this forum or LinusMediaGroup business site? Forum runs using IPB software which is heavily modded by colonel_mortis and now-retired Mr.Wizard. The business site is made with SquareSpace.

i  am redesigning the website. The website was a Tech Blog website  and i wanted to create forums like ltt's website.

Dump that JavaScript as the site is barely working, tons of errors. Also as previous posters stated - get a more unique name. Aside of that I assume you have the knowledge to quality create content for such site? And I mean unique news not copy-pasting generic tech news from the Internet. Others won't do it for you nor does flashy JS site won't cover lack of quality and quantity.

It's your site. If you will be making unique content you can name it unique to have a sort of a brand. It doesn't have to be "hardwaretipsandbuildguides.com".

ok, but i even have a YouTube channel. So i need a name for both the website and for  the YouTube channel.

As you are using vaorg.co.in then you can make a "vaorg" or "vaorg.co.in" channel (assuming it's some unique name) and later on if it's successful register it as a trademark, start a company with such name or something alike. Or just "Varun" etc. (and the site really needs some work).

 

AdoredTV is now a well known brand in the tech community not because the name is tech related but because the author published some really good content. You can do the same but that's like a year of work with unique own, not hotlinked content. Then few more years to be somewhat sizable. I have my tech blog since more than 10 years and that's just articles without YT channel and forums and gets some organic traffic when people find some interesting stuff.

ok thanks.  there is already a site called va.org and when  people search vaorg in the search bar it show the government va.org That's the reason i wanted to change the name to  something else. There is already a channel  called varun tech tips so i  can't do that.

I have  made  some changes in the form such as  badges, roles, sub topics and topic and even the review of Samsung galaxy Z flip.

go  check it out sand say how it was.

I'm not trying to demotivate you.. But why are you wasting your talent like this? I was just on your site for a second time and honestly it's worse now than what it was. If you want a brand or even to succeed at all you need to stick at a course.. You can't just switch in a 90 degree angle, like you are now.

 

As for naming, forget anything that reminds or can be confused with another brand and think out of the box. The way you are thinking is the old "IPad" way, everyone started to call everything "Isomething", that's the same as you are doing now kind of. I would strongly suggest to use a day or two find some words you like and twist and bend them untill you come up with something that really clicks you're imagination.

 

No matter how good (or bad) your site becomes, that's not what drives traffic or makes it successful. Changing it like you are now only damages your reputation..

That's not really possible. What i believe is good user interface is not always the same as other people think. For example i prefer sites with dark background. While other people just can't get rid of that strong white background that hurts you're eyes because monitors now days have strong backlight or what have they.

 

However, in most cases a simple website will do the trick. The more advanced it becomes it will scare people off.. Like the saying. Everyones a idiot untill proved otherwise. That's kind of how you need to think about your visitors lol

CSS media query can detect dark mode turned on so a website could adjust ;)

wikipedia. And you can google "best news wordpress themes" if you are completely green with websites and just use wordpress. Or maybe static sites generators like Jekyl for extra security? ;) You can check mine - https://rk.edu.pl/ - not the best thing but gets the job done.

CDN won't help you as the website code is severely broken. To much JavaScript that is slow to load and execute that then also breaks that then breaks the site. Google Lighthouse gives 21 seconds time to interactive, 10s for JS alone. Drop whatever you have now as it doesn't work and never will.

If other users have working wix sites then it;s likely something broken on your site (your changes or whatnot) - ask their support / community for help. If every wix site is bad (would be odd) then quit the service.
