Cannot install windows

Hey guys, i cant install windows, i download an ISO to an usb drive and the bios recognizes it but i am not able to boot from it, it just stays like this:

that white bar blinks ans that’s it.

you guys have any ideas?

What did you do with the ISO?  Just throw it on the USB?

 @SamfisherYes, but now i got the files out of the iso and throw them into the usb, waiting for it to finish the transfer

Use Rufus to make it bootable.

But , I am using a Mac to make the boot usb,

Then use the bootcamp assistant to  make the installer.

Do you not have a windows PC?

Just use the official media creation tool from microsoft.

There must be software on Mac for that too. This Ubuntu guide suggests Etcher.

I've seen this issue personally and it can be frustrating. The issue that I found came down to the BIOS boot type versus how the USB Bootable was configured (UEFI or Legacy Boot). If this does not match up you will have issues. 

 

Windows likes to try to set up everything now for a UEFI environment, but if your system is not configured for it or does not support it, you will have to change how the bootable media is created.
