Intel moving production overseas

Intel board of directors are entertaining the idea of moving production of its silicon overseas.
Source leaks from intel's own board of directors suggest that to stay competitive they are looking to move production away from north america, this in stark contrast to their "made in america" brand in the past.

Companies can't be patriotic. Unfortunately, they are bound by law to do what is right for the shareholders, not the workers. 

 

Hopefully this doesn't affect anyone and they all get a worthwhile severance if Intel does intend to leave the States.

It was more a response to the OP's "made in America" brand image than a reflection of businesses acumen.

No.  It’s a dualopoly.  There is no affordable.  They’re cheapening the product not improving it.
