Did I break my CPU?

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

I doubt you would have broken it by just pushing hard on the CPU. The system is made to withstand quite a bit of force from a cooler clamping down anyways.

Was installing my Ryzen 3600 stock cooler to the cpu, using the mobo box to work on.  The big metal plate on the back of the mobo kinda lowered when installing the cooler, so i inadvertently pushed a bit hard on the cooler, which pushed down on the top of the cpu.  Would that have broken the cpu? Asking this because I don’t have a GPU yet to test if the system still works
