Because I’m incredible, I somehow got to corrupt the installation file and it gets stuck in a loop when I’m trying to create a account (local) and out a password and it just refuses. Since the brillinaceses was that built the pc made that one only can access the bios after a reset, impossible. Is there any way that i can access any option to debug and/or force a reboot

That's 100% false.

I've installed a few Windows 10 last week and you can totally make a local account when connected to a network.

@Kidplayer_666

What do you mean it refuses when you make the password? Is there an error message? What's happening exactly?

For W10 Pro. W10 Home (some of the newest versions but maybe not the newest one, I forget what version it is) doesn't let you make a local account unless you're completely offline. Had one pull that on me a bit ago, it was annoying af.

Oh really?

I've only ever dealt with the Pro version and I would've never expected that was a thing, like at all ... BRB, gotta pick my jaw off the floor, and clean my desk of the brain matter after I got my mind blown.

Just set your "Expecation that Microsoft will do literally anything logical like let you make an offline account or actually put all the settings in one place and not split them into two apps awkwardly with some in one place and some in the other and some in both for no known reason" meter to -43 and you'll just be pleasantly surprised most of the time! ?

fuck microsoft for pipelining people into unnecessary accounts

Yeah, I have a few status update that I started with "FU MS" and then went on a rant for some dumb stuff they did or implemented.

Sorry OP for the off-topic derail.

Let us know what's happening exactly, we get there's a loop where it sends you back to the account creation page (?), but if you could be more specific, that would help us, so we can help you! ;)

Hmm... I've changed my laptops account from MS to offline maybe a month or two ago. While it was on wifi. So maybe this is some update causing issues.

During the setup process? Or after it was setup?

After it. I've done it during setup for my moms laptop, but that was over year ago (said laptop is now dead).

I also think I just said same as you in different words.

We were talking during setup, and it's a newer thing, a year ago it let you do a local account just fine.

I also set passwords after setup lol, during setup it forces me to use security questions no matter what, but I often set up PCs for other people so that's a PITA.
