100% load

is it normal that my gpu is 100% load and my cpu is about 30% load at playing games called TheForest

 

my specs are

r5 2600

rx 570

2x4gb ram

it is normal to have 100% GPU usage and as long as you are having a stable framerate

That's ideal for a computer.

 

There is no "degrading" that occurs running something at 100% within its recommended heat and voltage ranges.  

 

In fact if you had 30% CPU load and 60% gpu load that would be considered a CPU bottleneck for example (as your GPU wouldn't be working at its fullest, 100%, ability because your CPU wasn't building it enough Frame Time)

It's normal, it just means that that game is more reliant on GPU performance than CPU performance.

I haven’t played the forest but I know with a rx580 8gb card my gpu usage was almost always at 99% usage

It’s ok, don’t apologize we all started somewhere and I still ask questions if I’m not sure about stuff. 
What are your gpu temps at full load? I don’t know what case you have, your model of gpu or how you have your fan layout so maybe 45c idle is decent for your setup.
