Should I get the RTX 2060 SUPER or the Radeon RX 5700XT

I was thinking of buying either a NVIDIA 2060 super by gigabyte (https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX80024) or the Radeon RX 5700 XT (https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX80023).

The price difference isn't really a problem. I would like to know how much better they perform compared to each other. Websites like userbenchmark don't really tell the full story since there is not test using the configuration of my computer. I have a Ryzen 5 3600X with ADATA DDR4-3600 2x8g memory. If anyone out there has the same config as me pls help me.

 

Yes, I have looked online at youtube videos that are comparisons but I am still not satisfied because people I have talked to state that the RTX 2060 super has better rendering than the RX 5700 XT with its superior texture detailing.

What does "better rendering with superior texture detailing" even mean? Never look at userbenchmark for peformance metrics.

The RX5700 XT performs a tiny bit better than a RTX2060 Super.

Do u ever plan on Twitch streaming etc ? no Buy the rx 5700 xt if u ever want to stream go with the super nvenc is still alot better then the amd version

You're basically paying 5% more for 5% higher 1440p performance with the 5700 XT vs 2060 Super based on techpowerup's benchmark. It's the eternal Nvida vs AMD question of drivers vs raw power. Navi drivers are a mess right now but in the long run the 5700 XT will probably end up quite a bit more powerful, though only slightly more powerful now. Gotta ask yourself if you want simple and easy now or for your card to be relevant longer.
