case help required

cachowww

hi guys, at the. moment I'm in love with the p400a digital as 1. it has great airflow and 2. has a good price while looking good. however, this case has been out of stock for a while now and am not sure whether or not it will come back in stock. I am looking to build my pc relatively soon so I had a look around and landed on the cooler master h500 which I also liked. So at the moment I'm stuck on whether I wait for the p400a rgb to come back in stock or just get the h500 now. any help would be great

Which one is better and why? I'm thinking of getting either but the P400A hasn't been in stock for a while but it's usually around $150NZD whereas the Cooler Master H500 is around $190NZD and is in stock at multiple retailers.

Well, if Phanteks P400A\Digital are out of stock then do you even have a choice ? CM H500 are good case, go for it.

Also look at FD Meshify C, 180 NZD and Phanteks Enthoo Pro M, 170 NZD but CM H500 has advantage of two stock 200mm case fans at the front.

I mean like would it be worth waiting for p400a because I know it has insane out of the box thermals for cheap but is rarely in stock so would it be better if I just got the h500 which is only very slightly warmer but is much larger

Mastercase H500:

DIMENSIONS (LXWXH)
450 x 220 x 445mm (Excl. Panels), 525 x 228 x 502mm (Incl. Panels)

44L, 60L

Phanteks P400A Digital RGB

Dimension
210 mm x 465 mm x 470 mm
8.3 in x 18.3 in x 18.5 in

45.9L

The panels make the case a bit bigger, but the frame is roughly the same size.

No problem.

Comparing against USD regular prices, the Mastercase H500 should be a lot closer to the P400A in price, so the 40NZD price difference is not worth paying as both cases are both similar in size, airflow performance and build quality. If you can, I'd wait for the P400A. If you absolutely need it right now and price isnt as much of a concern in terms of budget, I think you'll like the H500.

Thank you very much! Luckily the P400A has just come back into stock so that should be the case I'm getting!
