Since this morning, ads sometimes disappear while the space for them remains. I have adblock disabled on this site.

I just reloaded the main page and for the first time since this afternoon, an ad finally appeared. Not quite sure if there's something on my end or not. But this is not happening on any other site.

Firefox 72.0.2 (64-bit), Windows 10 LTSB 1607, adblock disabled

EDIT: just reloaded it again, and now they're gone again. P:

Do you have the Firefox tracking protection enabled (shield to the left of the address bar)? That will block some ads.

Ah. I do. Should I just disable that then? It only just started happening tho.

Enable adblocker until problem is solved - LInus Group can pay for this forum.

The forum gets its money through ads and contributions, afaik, they don't spend money on it.

I don't know the specifics, but it is my understanding that the forum costs more to run than it brings in from ads and contributors.

For some reason, I keep remembering him saying that the forum sustains itself for the most part (the money that they earn from it goes back to keeping it up), but that was probably some time ago, so it might not be accurate anymore.

Might also be imagining things.

The money that it earns does go back to keeping it up, but that isn't enough.
