Ive made a build plan for a budget of something arround 1200€ I am posting here just to get more opinion. Im still in doubt about 1. the graphic card because de AMD RX5700 TX is way cheaper but I am afraid of the performance difference, and 2. the powersupply I think it may be a bit overkill for this build? What do you guys think?

My aim is to play games at 1080p in a 144Hz monitor.

The 2070S is usually still better than the 5700XT, of course not counting scenarios where one is obviously better.

I think you didn't post your full list, there is no PSU in the list.

It's always helpful to just post your PCPartPicker link, that way people can edit the list.

You have no PSU listed on  this build?

I would not recommend that CPU. I'd recommendd a 3600(x). And the 5700xt preforms exceptionally for the price. I would recommend it over a 2070Super

Gaming Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x   |  GPU: Asus ROG STRIX 2080 SUPER Advanced (2115Mhz Core | 9251Mhz Memory) |  Motherboard: Asus X570 TUF GAMING-PLUS  |  RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3600MHz 16GB  |  PSU: Corsair RM850x  |  Storage: 1TB ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro, 250GB Samsung 840 Evo, 500GB Samsung 840 Evo  |  Cooler: Corsair H115i Pro XT  |  Case: Lian Li PC-O11

Where would that be (RX5700 being better)?

No. Not intel

The AMD Ryzen 5 3600. Or 3600x. Or if you're up for the money the 3700x.

The AMD RX?

And yes, I would say the new Ryzen is better than old intel. I'd say it's better than new intel...

What I meant is if youre saying that its better just performance wise or just because I would put a AMD GPU or it doenst matter at all that they were both to be from the same brand

I think overall it's just a better CPU. It does not matter if your GPU and CPU are different brands. It won't effect performance.

The 5700XT will almost never be better than a 2070 Super, but there are exceptions like BFV and Metro Exodus:

https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/msi_radeon_rx_5700_xt_gaming_x_review,15.html

But in general the RTX 2070S is stronger, but I didn't want to say one is "always" faster/better.

As for the build itself, looks okay, but I would strongly suggest a Ryzen 3600 build like the one @VEXICUS suggested. The Ryzen CPU has more threads and better single-core performance, making it a better choice for (basically) all purposes.

The upgrade to an M.2 NVME is also nice to have and the PSU is just a better choice.

Plus if the price difference is large(r), the 5700 XT is actually a CPU that makes a lot of sense.
