Cpu 100% nothing running!!?

So ive had this problem and it has been annoying me, a year ago i build this pc.. i got an i9-9900k and recently i noticed that it was running at 100% in task manager also when i first boot my pc up?? i tried everything until i gave up. i ended up resetting my pc, but it still hasnt changed!! i now sit confused and dont know what to do?

Can you post a screenshot of expanded task manager, sorted by CPU usage?

the task that takes up most cpu changes randomly sometimes google is 80% then task manager uses 50%

So have you had your PC for a year, and just now you upgraded to a 9900K from your older CPU? If that is the case, have you reinstalled Windows?

What system are you on? Desktop or Laptop? What processor you have?

no it have always been a i9

have you tried reinstalling windows?

Have you done any malware scans? What are your other specs?

no it just started going at 100% like some days ago i think, then i couldnt fix it, and now i just reinstalled windows, but i still got the problem

Could it be throttling somehow? Can you check your running frequency and temperature?

Something like CPU-Z should provide those data.

yes ive tried malware scans(no results) i have rog strix 1070 and 16gb ram

i use hwmoniter and its at like 60c, my task manager tells me it runs at 4,7 even though sat it to 3.6 in bios(i thought setting it to 3.6 mb would fix the problem)

Have you verified how it’s running in other programs? What are your temps? Task manager could be wrong

it runs at 4.7 in hwmoniter too

Do you overclock? Try resetting your overclocking settings to factory defaults if you have any.

so i used to had it overcloked (in bios) but i sat it to deafault im pretty sure?

so in my bios its clocked at 3.6

ok i still have this problem, i even updated my bios and made sure my cpu is clocked at 3.6?? any suggestions
