Question about Star Citizen

Go to solution Solved by Dmon,

Yes, every package above $40 USD will give you Alpha access as well as some added goodies.

Also the avenger is an ex police/military ship that has since been replaced by the hornet.

However the avenger has some features that the hornet doesn't, such as a bed and several holding cells for taking prisoners :). Quite a nice ship for bounty hunters/pirates.

Hey Guys,

I have a couple of questions about Star Citizen. I see that there are still some Alpha slots left. If a buy a ship right now, and I getting Alpha access ? And in case it depends on the ship that I buy, here is what I'll be going for :  https://robertsspaceindustries.com/store/332-avenger

Is that going to give me Alpha access ? And is it a good ship ? I guess I will use it for Piracy :D

Thank  you ! :)

So to just add in a little bit, I can buy the same ship but one is the RSI the other is "non RSI" and more expensive?
Will I get alpha/beta acces with both these? Or? Help! ^^

There is a very high chance they will extend the alpha slots again.

nvm, found it. I got confused as hell tho. The shop is a little bit weird. I was looking at buying only the ship, not the package. Anyway, thanks!

Thnx mate. That was really helpful. So it's ok to buy the Aanger for Piracy, right ? I know that it has 1x Tier4 Trust. But how about the handling ? Would you recommend any other ship around tha price, for Piracy ? Thank you mate :)

Thank you too mate. And aren't you supposed to buy the 325 ? Because I don't think that there is a way to upgrade from 1 ship to an other.

The "Ultimate" ship for piracy seems to be the Cutlass at $115, more space, more upgrade slots, more guns and to top it all off it comes with a "Joker Docking Collar Extension" Which lets you drill a hole into others ships.

Although I'm sure the Avenger would be just fine at piracy as well.

Yes there are a limited number of alpha slots. Ghost says he thinks they'll be extending the number, however I'm of the opposite opinion. They've already extended alpha slots at least 2x now, and from what I see in the forums the final goal was to hand out 250,000. I think this is the absolute max number they want in game when the alpha finally hits (cause that's a ton of slots for an alpha) Right now 9,186 slots are left and I'm sure they'll go fast now that it's that low.
