What type of router do you have? I have seen a couple of instances where the router doesn't enable DHCP by default.

What type of ISP connection do you have? PPPoE would require some setup in the router before you can get Internet.

Does the internet connection work properly on your phone when it is connected to the WiFi router?

Can you try pinging an IP address inside your network like the router's address? And then can you try ping 8.8.8.8?

So your connection type is PPPoE. It says connected and based on your other images you are able to talk to the router but there's an issue somewhere in-between the LAN & WAN communicating.

Have to admit I've not seen an issue like this except for some form of hardware failure. What's the backstory here? Is this a brand new setup or was everything working and it suddenly stopped? Or did you touch something?

both actually

at first everything suddenly stopped working so i thought the router is not working

then bought a new router

did fresh setup

i now end up with 2 routers

Does the ISP have a support line? I helped someone not long ago with the same ISP connection and for them it seemed it was as simple as login and setup DHCP. Boom. Done. If it's still not working I think there's a hardware issue.

if service line means support by the isp , have already done it

i cant understand that why it is a hardware issue if i am able to use the internet if i plug in the wan cable directly to the computer and set up internet connection pppoe in networking & internet sharing center by user name & pass word for the 1st time & then using taskbar networking icon on bottom right to connect to the internet

I don't have in depth knowledge of PPPoE or what role it plays in modern networking but a rule of thumb I do understand is you should never plug a computer directly into your WAN cable. At least not with the intent to use it as a permanent solution (not that you said that's your plan). It opens up the computer to attacks as the computer basically acquires your Public IP address. From there the only thing protecting you from attacks from the Internet is Windows Firewall. You don't want that.

Unfortunately I'm out of my element here. For what I know what you've done should be working. Sorry. Someone more knowledgeable here should take notice and lend a hand but I can at least poke a couple guys who might know something: @Lurick @mynameisjuan @leadeater

This is very strange behavior. We use PPPoE here in South Africa but I have never seen this happen before. Is IPv4 enabled in your network adapter properties? Is it set to automatically acquire an address? Have you tried Factory Resetting the router and re-entering your PPPoE details?

From within your router there are usually tools like ping or traceroute. Once you connect your router and enter your credentials can you ping out directly form the router?
