Ryzen 3600 wich ram?

For my upcoming build i got option to buy cheep

Patriot Viper Steel 2x8GB 3600 MHz CL17

Or litle bit more for

Corsair Vengence 2x8 3200 MHz CL16

Wich one you recommend for ryzen 5 3600?

The patriot is the faster ram, corsair is the better brand, but brand doesn’t equal performance.

Brand is basically nothing with ram, except when the brand means a better class of chip is used.  All ddr makers do is buy chips from other companies, attach them to PCBs they may or may not have designed or even built themselves, and sell them.  The bit that actually matters is the chips made by others.  Heat spreaders were a boon to memory manufacturers.  It allowed them to hide what they were actually selling.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
