Pre-installed intel microcode on amd cpu.

I have just set up ubuntu 18.04 on my new pc and after getting some of the software I ended up looking up microcode on synaptic package manager.

 

Turns out I have both the amd64 and intel microcode installed. Now i don´t know whether I should remove the intel one or just leave it - i'm leaning towards removing it.

Might be some 8086/x86 microcode?

Still an instruction set modern CPU's run.. But I am not sure.
