How much does it cost to ship a case?

xamon
Go to solution Solved by Sheldon_King,

I didn't really convey what I meant very well in that question. What I wanted to know was If someone had already shipped an empty case and on average how much it was. I should have made it more clear.

@Sheldon_King thanks for the answer. the ground option didn't appear for me for some reason.

I don't know why it would not show for you.  And just a little more info, fedex is saying $30.60 for ground from 27027 to 90210.  Notice the price will go up if you  don't use ground or if it s heavier than 20 pounds.

I have a NZXT Phantom 410 and I was wondering if anyone of you guys knew how much it cost to ship one within the United States using say UPS, Fedex or USPS (Just the empty case)? I went to their website and created an estimate which gave me an average of about $90, i cant believe this to be right. Im trying to sell it to buy an H440 but if the shipping cost is more than what I can sell it for its a bit pointless.

seems that it cost about $40 for UPS ground, using 27027 and 90210 zip codes.

The question is impossible to answer without knowing the weight, dimensions, destination and source of the package.

Google, or guess. In fact UPS only asks for weight, and the quote above was for 20 pounds which is more than it does weigh empty.

edit: wrong number pressed

@Sheldon_King The case is about 20 pound so that should be about the same price. I live a bit up from you (NYC) and I guess I should be prepared to ship it to pretty much every corner of the US. I think I will have to think twice about selling this case online or not. It might end up costing me.

The other alternative is to go to the shop but last time I was there they wanted me to bring the box too which would be a pain to lug around in all the snow. I will mark your post as answered but if someone has more info please let me know. Shipping is ridiculously expensive.

It cost a lot to ship a case so wen they send linus a case, they don't want it back because shipping is going to cost more than just build a new case
