So basically just built a new pc

specs

1660ti

ryzen 5 3600

240 gb ssd

3200 mhz ram

650 watt Corsair 80+ bronze

b450m pro ASRock motherboard

mouse model o-

basically after playing for some time my mouse randomly starts having input lag. I play fortnite and my mouse movement feels delayed. The weird thing is one restart and my input lag is gone. I restart my pc and it’s completely normal. The temperatures are fine I’m not sure what it could be. any ideas?

I'd say ghost in the machine.  Rocket jump ninja praises the glorious model o- and I'm certain he would report any kind of issue.

Probably just random interactions between OS and drivers, an update should fix it when it comes around

*edit: could even be a fortnite or epic thing

Would doing a windows update help at all?

It has the 3360 sensor so short of going here and making a download I don't think there is much you can do.  Update everything in your system including motherboard and gpu and if that doesn't fix it just wait for someone in the deep to fix it.  My Corsair M65 pro with the same sensor has been flawless even in borderlands 3 which is epic so I'm going to say it's a fortnite issue or something to do with your hardware outside of the mouse.  You could e-mail glorious here to see if they have any input and if there is an actual problem with their product they'll get ontop of it.  You just need patience and faith in the community.

Specs

1660 ti

ryzen 5 3600

16 gb ram

motherboard is asrock b450m pro4

I have no temperature issues no ram issues hardware is all fine its a software issue

Basically I just built this computer. Initially I noticed that when the computer was on for a while it would start to get input lag. I later realized it was only after waking up from sleep mode. So I disabled sleep mode. Problem sovled right? nope. it still happened. so the issue isn't because of sleep mode I guess? im not sure tbh. I can't find a fix. I play fortnite and and ive noticed that after playing for a while it just randomly starts acting up. im pretty sure its not gradual it just randomly happens. a restart of my pc fixes it but its annoying restarting every time. I updated all my cpu drivers and motherboard drivers with a program called driverscloud. I also updated my gpu drivers. I was thinking maybe one of my usb port drivers have some issues so I wanted to uninsall it and reinstall. at this point I have no idea what the issue is. please someone help me im so clueless

Usually when performance degrades over time (and is unrelated to temperature) and reboots fix it there's some software leaking memory

i5-14600KF // 120x38MM Cooler Master AIO // B760i // 64GB DDR5 6000 // PNY RTX 5070 // Cooler Master NCORE 100 Max // Cooler Master V SFX-850 Gold // UWQHD AOC Display
