Hello. I’m having trouble installing my graphics card.

I am using this PSU and my card requires 8-pin PCIE power connection.

I’m not sure if my PSU has the right connections for this. I have a 6–8 pin adapter, but it requires a 6-pin PCIE cable which I can’t seem to find on Amazon.

Any ideas on how to go about this?

You should have a 6+2 pin pcie connector with that PSU. Plug that in to the 8 pin on your GPU.

Hi there, this is the cable that came with your PSU that you're supposed to use.

It's weird to me that you defaulted to trying to find adapter cables on Amazon, instead of looking into what cables your own PSU's got.

So, any follow-up to this?

Hi. I actually ended up buying a new PSU (from Amazon lol). Other users advised that the CX430M is not suitable for a GPU that needs a 6+2 pin. In any case, I’ve lost all the original cables and didn’t feel like waiting around for replacements.

Thanks for your help and follow up.
